Find the right program
ERCs and discrete credits are distinct instruments. Geographic and use requirements depend on the program and receiving regulator.

02 / PUBLIC BANKED CREDITS
Banked records are a starting point. A record does not establish seller willingness, current pricing or eligibility for your project.
| Holder / source reference | State / program | Pollutant | Recorded amount | Location | Source status | Record details |

Amounts retain the source's units. No national tonnage total is shown because programs, pollutants, seasons and time bases differ. Older publication dates do not by themselves mean a credit has expired.
BANKED ≠ OFFERED FOR SALE
ERCs and discrete credits are distinct instruments. Geographic and use requirements depend on the program and receiving regulator.
Every imported row links to its source. Review publication dates, restrictions and the regulator's current record before relying on a balance.
Availability, price, minimum purchases and transfer timing require confirmation with the holder or representative.
03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP
Prepare a buyer request or a seller listing inquiry. Include what you know. Leave the rest for follow-up.

Nationwide scope, with explicit limits. A state listed here is not a claim that every credit in that state is loaded.
This site uses a reviewed export from the shared ERC research collection. Publication dates and retrieval dates are retained separately. It is a snapshot, not a live connection to government databases. Updates require source review and a new import.
Past printed expiry, zero balance, superseded, committed, pending, duplicate and potential entries are excluded from default results but remain available in the historical view. Original status, intended use and notes are shown in record details. Internal references identify a row in this snapshot and are not government certificate numbers.
RESEARCH GUIDE
Use the original program, pollutant, geography, units and dates when comparing credits.
Emission reduction credits for air permitting. This site focuses on public air-credit registers. It does not list employee retention tax credits or combine carbon offsets with these records.
Texas distinguishes permanent-reduction ERCs from temporary-reduction DERCs and separate allowance programs. Keep each instrument in its own program when searching and comparing.
TCEQ program explanations ↗Tons per year describe a rate; tons describe a mass. Ozone and non-ozone seasons remain separate. “Not printed” means the source did not state a unit. We do not infer one or calculate a national tonnage total.
A public balance does not confirm an asking price, seller authorization, current ownership or willingness to sell. Contact the holder or representative and confirm the current regulator record before proceeding.
TCEQ trading exchange notices ↗Receiving facility location and air district, pollutant, intended program, quantity and units, permit or project deadline, and any requirements provided by the permitting authority. Ask for certificate or account identifiers, current balance, restrictions, expiry or discount treatment, transfer requirements and a dated quote.
Holder or authorized representative, regulator and program, certificate or account identifiers, pollutant, quantity and units, source documents, restrictions, asking price and minimum quantity. Public register inclusion alone does not create a seller listing.

Some authorities publish PDFs or agency dashboards; others publish program rules without an accessible inventory. A missing import is not evidence of an empty bank. Massachusetts is linked with an aggregate summary; its holder records are not imported. New Hampshire has a clearly labeled partial import and a link to the original registry. Ohio report access remains unresolved. Local-authority coverage is still being researched.
The searchable register is a source snapshot, not a live quote service. Some California records retain a district-recorded historical purchase-price field, clearly labeled in record details. These figures do not establish a current asking price. Agency transfer reports are linked where available and must be evaluated separately from current offers.
